Experience
I attended Nova Southeastern University, where I received my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. For my undergraduate study, I attended Dominican College of Blauvelt, where I got my B.S. in Humanities, with an emphasis in Education. While there, I became certified in General Education and Special Education. I've been teaching for about nine years, in multiple subjects and states. Though I have certification to teach any subject, I've chosen to concentrate on French, seeing as its my main language. I presently teach French full time at a charter school in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm certified in teaching Mathematics, French (K-12), Social Studies (Gen. Ed. K-8, Special Ed. K-12), Science, and Language Arts. In addition to teaching, I've worked as an in-person French tutor and an online tutor for students in kindergarten through sixth grade in reading and math. I'm also comfortable working with students prepping for standardized tests, including the French CLEP (College Level Examination Program). Additionally, having studied and worked with special education students, I have an extensive knowledge of diverse needs and have developed patient diligence when interacting with my students. During my free time, I love to travel, spend time with family, and play basketball with my son.
